The Community Foundation’s Summer Soiree held at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center’s outdoor patios on September 9 was a festive and successful event, raising more than $50,000 for our 2024 Excellence Grants.
The more than 120 guests enjoyed a beautiful late summer evening with a delicious catered dinner, wonderful wines and decadent desserts. A lively auction followed including a paddle drop that raised approximately $3,000 for All Ages Recreation Downtown (AARD). To read more about AARD, please click HERE
Afterward, guests danced the night away to live music from Lafayette’s own local band Other People’s Money.
